About Mir'iam Connelly
Since 1972 Mir'iam has helped people progress in personal and spiritual growth, thus leading more enriching lives. Her previous work included facilitation of a government program helping women face addiction and abuse. She helped them find safe homes and rebuild their lives.
She has traveled the United States and Canada co-facilitating seminars and retreats that offered emotional and spiritual growth to a collective audience. Her creative use of storytelling, teaching and ritual has captivated attendees and promoted inner focus.
Mir'iam, a natural healer, owned and operated a healing/spiritual wellbeing business in Wisconsin. She offered Massage, Energy Healing/Balancing and Spiritual Mentoring. But, her vision was larger than that. As a community service, she offered a large room as a gathering place. Used for classes and meditation groups, this room was open for everyone. It was well used by many for quiet time away from daily demands. During this time a Networking Group for practitioners was also begun. Mir’iam believes strongly in the wholeness of each individual’s journey.
Presently, Mir'iam and her husband Ron are focusing their efforts on the Sanctuary of Sophia, a place of beauty in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas that offers space for personal retreat, and sessions from Mir'iam are available. Ron & Mir’iam are making it possible for people to attend seminars and/or receive sessions from other excellent practitioners of various modalities for healing and growth. They are creating community opportunities once again.
Mir'iam says, "Our hopes and dreams are to create a welcoming space for others to simply BE and to receive. This adventure would not be possible without the companionship and loving support of my gentle, loving partner/husband; he is the best encourager of my visions and dreams as well as my transforming sessions. He works by my side on the seemingly endless tasks that we have encountered while making the Sanctuary of Sophia a reality. It is my belief that you can sense the presence of the Divine Feminine energy of Sophia here at the Sanctuary. "
When asked about herself Mir’iam replied: "Mir'iam Connelly is my full name. My first goal is to be myself, then, I am a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a Soul Mentor, Teacher, and Catalyst for healing and transformation. I have worked for 36 years communicating on a soul level with others. My interest and gifts focus on assisting clients with transformation, promoting healing and expanding consciousness. In living my own truth and making my own growth a priority, I bring integrity to my work. One of my better qualities is the gift of genuine acceptance for All.
My training is extensive and I am affirmed by others that I integrate learned abilities well with my natural gifts. The Absolute has gifted me with an ability to see into the human condition and offer compassion for all the varied conditions in which we encounter while on our life-journey. I have a ‘sense of knowing’ that comes naturally while experiencing my client’s energy. The holistic dynamics that I offer create a ‘Sacred Listening’. My clients often experience transformation on conscious and unconscious levels of being. I have come to realize that part of what I do is ‘Awaken’ and ‘Quicken the Spirit’ of another, which allows them to meet their soul. This delights me!
I see a goal for humanity that we would all someday live from our Soul and know our own heart in truth. Perhaps that is what would bring peace on our dear planet earth. I believe this to be open for us to grasp as my many life experiences, which I call mystical in nature, have taught me to BELIEVE."
