Eleja's Best Practices for Sowing Seeds...
When I began to sow seeds into ministries that God guided me to support, I was taught to give every seed I sowed a purpose.
To give with gratitude, intention, clarity, vision and joyful expectation & anticipation. For you can joyfully expect a harvest from every seed and when your seed has a purpose, it strengthens the supernatural power of the seed that is being sown. With every seed God called me to sow, I felt the seed root in the spirit realm and I felt how it was working with my prayers and my intentions. I have countless experiences where I was guided to sow a seed to support a breakthrough I was calling in and then I would experience a breakthrough shortly after sowing the seed. Sometimes, even minutes after the seed was sown. It was supernatural.
The first seed I ever sowed was a huge breakthrough moment for me as I had a lot of resistance to giving in this way due to religious programming and trauma. God helped me heal from that trauma and began to teach me about the supernatural power of sowing seeds, especially in anointed ministries that are alive with the Holy Spirit. God was preparing me to build the architecture be able to accept seeds for Sanctuary of Sophia™, although I didn't know it at the time. I began to sow as God guided me here and there, and then, after I began to understand the supernatural and spiritual mechanics of sowing seeds, I started sowing seeds more regularly without having to be nudged by God. It was a part of my devotional practice and one that has transformed me beyond my wildest dreams.
My seeds were backing me, my assignments, my family and my own ministry.
I sowed seeds for Sanctuary of Sophia™ and all of those covered under my ministry. I sowed seeds for my loved ones, for prayers I was tending to, for breakthroughs I was calling in, for my own Faith walk with God and beyond. I gave when I was called to give and I gave cheerfully. (God loves a cheerful giver!) Sowing seeds changed my life and the lives of those I love as the supernatural power of God moved from every seed I sowed.

If you feel God guiding you to sow a seed into Sanctuary of Sophia™, ask God to reveal to you what the seed is for and how much to sow.
Perhaps the Holy Spirit has already been speaking to you about sowing a seed and you can feel it in your body that it is time to take inspired action. Be open to receive and most importantly, be obedient and when you receive the instruction, be sure to follow through. God loves it when you move quickly and without hesitation, especially when the instruction is clear. If it is not yet clear, ask for clarity and then once it's received, you can take inspired action from there. Sowing seeds is all in divine timing, and the sooner you sow your seed, the faster it can start to work -- and God can start to move as you allow the seed to take root in the spirit.
The most important piece around sowing seeds is to do what God guides you to do. When God gives you an amount, sow the amount. Even if it's stretchy or doesn't make sense. God has a reason for the seed and when God instructs you to sow an amount, it is because God also has a purpose for that seed.
Whenever I sow a seed, I lift my heartfelt prayer up to God around the seed, thanking God for the provision and for giving me the opportunity to give back and sow in this way. I am present and intentional before I give, ensuring that I am inviting God into the process as we sow together.

One of my favorite ways to deepen my devotional practice of sowing seeds is to connect them to scripture. When we connect scripture to our prayers and our seeds, it amplifies the power of the seed as it stands on the Word.
For example, if I was praying for humanity and being guided to sow a seed for humanity, I would ask God to guide me to the scripture that would support the prayer and the seed. In this instance, the scripture God led me to is Luke 23:34 and so I would sow $23.34 with my prayer for humanity connected to that seed. That seed would take root and allow God to begin to initiate the flow of the supernatural harvest from that seed that was sown.
If you wanted to sow a seed for financial breakthrough, you could ask God to guide you to a verse around provision. In this instance, I could be led to Proverbs 10:22 "For the blessing of the Lord brings true riches, and He adds no sorrow to it for it comes as a blessing from God" and be called to sow $10.22, or $102.20 or $1,022 etc, to anchor the purpose and prayer.
Learning how to sow seeds and give them purpose is another pathway of deepening your connection to God and allowing God's instructions to guide you on how to best co-create with God. Sowing seeds builds trust and faith with God and allows God to support you as you support a ministry that is serving God.
Sowing is a very intimate process with God and is a beautiful way to give back and also to receive.
